Hi there,

I can't believe it has been over a month since I have posted last.  So sorry guys!  I have been recieving the Unity Stamps Kit of the Month for about 6 months now and I have recently just came across the Unity Stamp Kit of the Month Sketch Challenge.   This month you have to make something with this template in mind:

This is what I came up with.  (You will have to excuse the picture, I took it with my blackberry and it is a little out of focus)  I also made this card for a customer of mine.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the father's out there!

I seen this tutorial over at the SVGCUTS.com blog  svgcuts.com.  Once I saw it, I knew that I had to make these for father's day.  I went and picked up all the files here.  I made 4 but forgot to take a picture of one of them.  I made one for my husband, father, and father-in-law.  The Ketchup/mustard bottles is a card, and the grass opens up where you can place a gift card in (in my husbands case, I placed a fishing hook I boutght him in it!)  I have some ideas on how to make different ones, so stay tuned, I will post pictures of them once I have them complete!

Thanks for stopping by,

Organizing my Stickers

Oh my GOSH!!  I didn't realize how many stickers I had until I tried to organize them.  Wow!  I had originally had them in drawers but I got to thinking, that is probably why I had gotten so many, they are hidden and I forgot about them.  I want everything in my scrapbook room to be seen, that way they aren't forgotten.  So, I seen an idea online awhile ago and it has taken me till now to be fully finished with my organizing (and I still need to put tabs on but someday that will happen lol)

Here is what it looked like before:

This is only one drawer out of three that I have overflowing!

I decided to use some cheap cardstock that I picked up at Staples - I think it was $12 for 250 sheets of white cardstock, and I decided to staple on my stickers in themes: baby, wedding, christmas, etc.  Then I picked up some page protectors (again from Staples - 200 for $14)

Then I put them all into a 3" ring binder (which is overflowing)

But I keep this placed on my desk for me to see, and when I am stuck, I look in my sticker book and sure enough, I have used some up, more than I would if they were stuck in a drawer somewhere, plus it is easier to bring with you to crops and such.  Just pull out the section you would like to bring, throw on a binder ring and away you go!!!

Hope you enjoy!

Mother's Day Card

I had made this card a while ago considering I gave it to my mom for mother's day but haven't had time to put it on my blog considering I have been busy with some orders. (sorry it has been a while)  I had gotten my Sure Cuts a Lot 2 program for christmas and really hadn't played with it too much.  When svgcuts.com came out with the kit below, I had to have it and my mom inspired me to make this card.

This is my version on the card.  It isn't as pretty as the one svgcuts.com did but I was able to use up some of my scrap paper that had been accumulating on my desk.  I think it turned out ok!

This is the kit i made it from:

You can purchase this kit here.

Well now I am absolutely hooked on my SCAL program and trying out all kinds of svg cuts from all over.  I am in hopes of one day in the near future of making my own svg cut files...one day :)

Happy crafting everyone!

Handmade Cards and Wedding Invitations

So after the Focus on Women show I had done a few weeks back, I had been approached by the organizer of the show to make three Thank You cards for the guest speaker and such.  She asked for purple and the logo of the show, so this is what I came up with:

I was also approached to make some wedding invitations for a lady for her wedding.  She asked for browns and blacks, and she and I came up with this: Note the picture doesn't do this invitation justice!

Mexico Vacation Templates for Storybook Creator 3.0 Plus

My friend had asked me to make her some templates for the Creative Memories Storybook creator 3.0 plus scrapbooking software for her Mexico Vacation she took last year!

She seemed to like them!

Redberry Bible Camp Scrapbooing Retreat - April 1 - 3, 2011

So I went on my very first scrapbooking retreat last weekend and I LOVED IT!!!!!  I actually wish I was still there (lol)  There were 50 women, vendors like Stampin Up, Close to My heart, Creative Memories and Country Moose (which is a small scrapbooking store in Laird, SK)  We had some make and takes from each vendor, a prom theme Saturday evening (which my friend won the ugliest prom outfit!!) and the best food ever!  I had a blast meeting so many different people and doing some scrapbooking. Even though I only made 7 pages, while some made 50 throughout the weekend, it was worth it!  I will definitely go back to the next one!

I am so glad my friend took these two pictures of me scrapbooking because you all know that husbands won't do it, no matter how much you beg them!

Shopping at the Country Moose Store!  This store ROCKS by the way!!

My two best friends in the world!!!

Thanks Sara for letting me use your pictures as my camera died and I forgot to bring batteries!

I am so glad that I was able to send this time with these two ladies!  I can't wait to do it again.
